Due to a Microsoft API being deprecated, we have upgraded our Calendar app to use the Microsoft Graph API. As a result of this change, all calendars setup with Office 365 will need to be reconnected.

How to reconnect your Office 365 calendar

Only the owner of each calendar will be able to reconnect their calendars, as you will need to re-authenticate and allow access for our app to sync your calendar.

Global Calendars

As a calendar app admin:

  • Click the Calendar app icon in the colored pane on the left hand side
  • Ensure you are on the home page of the app with the Calendars option select in the menu
  • Click Add Office 365 calendar drop down, this is below all your current global calendars
  • Click the refresh icon on the right of the calendar
  • This will then ask you to re-authenticate your Office 365 calendar with our app

  • Repeat these steps for each Office 365 account connected to the app

Personal Calendars

As the agent who owns the calendar:

  • Click the Calendar  icon on the top right of your Zendesk
  • From the drop down on the top left of the app, click Add/edit calendars at the bottom of the list
  • As above, click Add Office 365 calendar drop down
  • Click the refresh icon on the right of the calendar
  • This will then ask you to re-authenticate your Office 365 calendar with our app

  • Repeat these steps for each Office 365 account connected to the app

FAQ

Does every agent who has a personal calendar connected to their Office 365 need to reconnect?

Yes, as we need each calendar to re-authorize to the new API, every calendar including all personal calendars will need to be reconnected.

I do not have login details to the calendar that needs to be reconnected. How do I authorize?

Our app requires authentication with the Office 365 account, please contact your internal System Administrator to help you login to these accounts.

I've gone to the app but cannot see the reconnect icon. Why?

Please ensure that you click the drop down labeled "Add Office 365 calendar" under the table of calendars as seen in the screenshots above.
