The survey app does not store personally identifiable data of your customers
All our apps are GDPR compliant
From 15 September 2018 onwards, the Survey app no longer stores personally identifiable information of your end users. All data is fully anonymized and only associated with the Zendesk ticket.
Per the update, the only information the app stores is:
- Anonymous survey data, associated with a Zendesk ticket record (0-10 ticket scores, reason for scores, timestamps)
- Anonymised ticket data (only data like status, IDs and timestamps)
The reason we don't need to store email address of end users is because the survey is sent via Zendesk.
Please note that if you use other apps by SweetHawk, personally identifiable information can be stored for other reasons depending on the functionality of those apps. However, for all our apps, including Survey, our privacy policy applies and we are GDPR compliant.
Should your organization be GDPR compliant, please note that Survey does store personal data of the users of the app (admins and agents in Zendesk), but not of your clients (end users in Zendesk).
