We've been working hard at re-designing our apps to provide a more consistent experience across our Suite of apps. It has always been our goal at SweetHawk to simplify the complex while still offering advanced tools to create workflows for all your business requirements.
If we've done our job well, we hope that our apps will become part of the furniture thanks to seamless integration with Zendesk. The re-design also includes a unified code base providing familiar UI components across all apps and making future updates faster to push out. Flexible ticket updates for almost any workflow requirements
One of the most exciting features we are bringing to our apps is ticket updates. This simple feature enabled advanced workflows by allowing you to update almost anything on the ticket at key intervals/events unique to each app. These updates can include adding a tag or public/private comment, changing the ticket status and so much more!
Powerful ticket templates to automate processes
One feature you may already be familiar with is ticket templates which can be found in many of our existing apps such as Tasks, Recurring Tickets, and Future Tickets. Ticket templates have had a facelift and look better than ever before in addition to being easier to use while simultaneously having more advanced functionality previously not possible.
Functional administration features for access and control
In addition to the many new features, we've also improved the admin experience across all SweetHawk apps such as:
- Authorization Control - View the admin currently authorizing API access. Revoke and assign a new API user. Ideal when the API user is leaving the company and will have their Zendesk profile downgraded or deleted.
- User Access Control - Assign users additional access to the app for those who need it. Ideal for managers or team leaders who need to monitor, create and update the configuration of the app.
- Audit Log - A new admin area now shows a useful audit log of all creates and updates of rules on your account. Ideal if you want to know who's been making changes to the app.
- Diagnostic Tools - Run a check and repair issues without having to contact support. Ideal if you encounter an issue with the app that has a major impact.

Migrating to the new app
For a seamless transition, we recommend installing the new app from the Zendesk Marketplace on your Sandbox account first to test the rules. If you don't have a Zendesk Sandbox, you can install the new app alongside the old one for testing purposes.
Contact us for an extended trial on the new app; we do not charge for testing instances.
Ongoing support for existing apps
While we have no plans to end support for the legacy Reminders app, we will focus on updating and adding new features exclusively to the new version.
